A lot of you are aware that Huawei’s recently launched smartphones are not coming with Google Play Services installed on them because the company is sanctioned and is placed on the list where the United States does not do business with.
With Huawei being on the wrong end of the US Entity List, it cannot do business with American companies (especially Google). Google Services On Huawei are not only disabled but also are no longer available in any circumstance.
However, there might be some good news for Huawei in this regard and for development.
This news comes in the form of an app created by XDA Developers’ forum member bender_007. It is known as Googlefier and the app creates a quick & easy method of installing Google’s apps onto Huawei and Honor smartphones.
While this was possible to carry out in the past, the method involved was quite long and dull. From users, it basically required them to set aside 20-30 minutes to get things up and running.
For most part, Google fier seems to follow its previous method to Install Google Services Onto Huawei, except for the fact that all the app’s processes and the app itself makes the process easy to follow. It will still need some time to get it all up and running, but it should be an overall smooth process.
It also be understood that Google has given a word of caution to users when they try to install its apps on non-authorized devices.
This means that certain apps may not work as originally intended hence the phone’s speed could slow down. For those who love Huawei and its hardware but are unable to go on without Google’s apps or services, then maybe the Googlefier app might be worth checking out.
